Interior Demolition in Hamilton
Interior demolition for renovations across Hamilton, Burlington and Niagara. We remove walls, ceilings, floors and fixtures by hand, protect what stays, and leave the space broom-clean for your trades.
Interior demolition that leaves the structure ready to build on
Interior demolition is the first step of almost every renovation, and it sets the pace for every trade that follows. Our crew takes out exactly what is on your plans: drywall and plaster, ceilings, flooring, cabinets, fixtures and non-structural walls. We work by hand and with small electric tools, so there are no machines inside the building and far less risk to the walls, floors and neighbours that stay.
Before anything comes down we set up dust walls, cover floors and stairs and agree on a clear path out to the bin. As we work, metal, concrete and brick are pulled out for recycling and everything else goes straight into the bin. At handover the nails are pulled, the floors are swept and the space is ready for framing, plumbing and electrical.

Why we demolish by hand
Machines are fast outdoors, but inside a home or an occupied building they bring vibration, noise and risk. Hand demolition lets us stop at the exact line on your plans, save the trim or doors you want to keep, and work around plumbing and wiring that is staying in service.
It also keeps the site cleaner. Debris goes out in contractor bags and wheelbarrows along a protected path instead of being dragged across your floors.

Often, yes, especially if walls, plumbing or structure are changing. The permit is pulled by your general contractor or by you as the homeowner. We work to the approved permit and plans.
Most single rooms take one to two days. A full floor of a house usually takes three to five days, and a full house gut five to eight. Your written quote includes a firm schedule.
Yes, once temporary shoring is in place and your contractor's or designer's plan calls for it. We take the wall out to that plan and leave the opening clean for the new beam.
Metal, concrete and brick are sorted out for recycling. Everything else goes into a roll-off bin, placed on your driveway on protective boards.
