Interior Demolition in Hamilton
Hamilton demolition for renovations: house gutting, selective demolition and interior strip-outs from the lower city to the Mountain. Done by hand, protected and left broom-clean.
Hamilton's interior demolition crew
Hamilton is where most of our work happens. The city’s homes range from brick century houses with plaster and lath in Kirkendall, Durand and Crown Point to postwar bungalows on the Mountain, and each needs a different approach. Plaster comes off differently than drywall, older homes need more care around trim and stairs, and narrow lots mean planning where the bin goes.
We work for homeowners renovating their own houses, for general contractors running gut renovations and additions, and for landlords turning over rental units and storefronts.

Demolition in older Hamilton homes
Many homes in Hamilton’s older neighbourhoods were built with plaster and lath, old wiring and cast-iron plumbing. We expect it, plan for it and price it honestly. Plaster gutting takes longer and fills more bins than drywall, and we tell you that up front instead of halfway through.
Homes built before the 1990s may contain asbestos in plaster, flooring or pipe wrap. Testing, and abatement by a licensed company if needed, is done before demolition starts.

Something else on your mind? Call Rory directly at (289) 659-1488.
Yes. We work across the whole city, including the Mountain, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas and Waterdown.
Your general contractor or you as the homeowner apply to the City of Hamilton when a permit is required. We work to the approved permit and plans.
Usually on the driveway on protective boards. If there is no driveway, a bin on the street may need a permit from the City, which we help you plan for.
