Backyard demolition without the heavy equipment

Most backyard structures do not need an excavator. Sheds, decks, pergolas, fences and many detached garages come down faster and cleaner by hand, with less damage to lawns, gardens and neighbouring fences. We take them apart in sections, remove the footings or slab if you want them gone, and haul everything away.

Wood, shingles and other debris go into the bin. Metal roofing, hardware and steel are sorted for scrap, and concrete pads and footings are broken up and sorted for crushing.

Access matters for small structures

Many backyards in Hamilton and Burlington have narrow side yards and no lane access. Because we work by hand, we carry debris out through a gate or along the side of the house to a bin on the driveway, protecting grass and walkways with boards along the way.

Some municipalities require a demolition permit for larger detached garages, and any power to the building must be disconnected. Check with your municipality; we work to whatever permit is required.

Yes. Once an electrician has disconnected the power, we cut it into sections, carry it out and haul it away.

If you want it gone, yes. We break it out, sort the concrete for recycling and leave the area ready for sod, gravel or a new pad.

Yes. Working by hand means we can carry everything through a side yard or gate to a bin on the driveway.
